Biography

Retired U.S. Navy officer. Completed the U.S. Navy Physician Assistant program in 1991. Served at Family Practice Clinics at U.S. Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy, U.S. Naval Medical Clinic London, United Kingdom, and U.S. Naval Hospital Rota, Spain. Retired from the U.S. Navy and joined Village Medical Centers in the Woodlands in November 2002. Left Village Medical Centers in September 2011 to work with a contract with NATO and the Department of Defense in the Afghan National Police Training & Mentoring program. Temporarily returned to Village Medical Centers in 2014 until joining a State Department contract in Kabul, Afghanistan in January 2015 until October 2019. Worked in locum tenens in remote areas of Alaska with Wilderness Medical Staffing and Fairweather on the Prince of Wales Island with PeaceHealth and Southeast Alaska Health Care Consortium and the north slope of Alaska for Oil Search and ConocoPhillips.
